Custom Document Management and Linking Solutions
Our custom solution provides a two-part web interface for users to upload files to doc link, ensuring seamless document management and linking within the P21 system.

 

1) Key Features:

• User Interface for File Upload:

• Upload Interface: Allows users to upload files to the doc link.

• Admin View: Adminscan move files in and out of the suspense folder back to the upload folder.

2) Worker Service for Document Linking:

• Monitoring Service: Monitors the doc link upload path and creates document links in P21 based on customer-specified rules.M

• Name Rules: Document links are created based on the structure of the uploaded file name.File

• Error Handling: If a document link cannot be created, the system will email the administrator and move the file to the suspense folder.

 

Customization and Compatibility:

• Customer Specifications: Documents are linked to areas as per customer specifications.

• File Name Structure: Multiple types of document links can be handled based on the file name structure. File names must conform to a specific layout to be parsed correctly.

• Database Access: This solution requires customers to have read/write access to their P21 database. Currently, it does not support SaaS customers.
